This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer
• Your shop was featured in the press or in social media

I just made my 100th sale. i'm so excited. this has been a terrible year for me and Lillyzcardz has had to take a back burner to personal tragedies. but this gives me the hope and determination to start putting my all into my shop and hoping 2014 brings twice as many sales. i wish the same for all of you!

It is the 1 week birthday of the opening of my shop. I had a goal of having 20 pieces listed by today and have totally failed that goal - because I sold 14 items! I'm starting to like failing to meet my goals, : )

I better get to work on some new plates.

I'm celebrating 2 things today! Firstly I made more money than last Christmas at my local vintage and Handmade fair today and secondly I've just made it to 400 sales!

I'm so excited to share that I am less than 10 sales away from reaching my Christmas goal (of 150 sales in total). Feeling so excited and grateful about it!

I was rather depressed because I wasn't having any Christmas sales "rush." For some reason, I started knitting a bit even though I'm a photographer. It's been getting cold & it just felt right as a sort of winter nesting type of thing. After I finished my first scarf, I decided to put it in my etsy shop just for kicks. It sold within a few days! What a crack up...and what excitement to see a sale again. Maybe it will kick start sales on my cards, photos & gifts. Who knows? :)

I was bummed out, too, about the lack of holiday sales, but things are turning around for me and my art work. I've had features on two big websites lately and this morning I checked in with my shop and discovered I was on the Front Page for the first time! I also made a big sale yesterday... so, overall, very pleased! :)

Well this week I'm not celebrating sales because I've had to put my shop on the backburner this year with work getting in the way. Buut I am celebrating the fact that I've added new items to my shop this week and have started being active on Etsy again after a long break. I'm probably a bit too late for the Xmas rush but still, it's good to be back :)

I'm poorly and having a well deserved rest today but I am celebrating nearly doubling my sales at my Christmas craft fair on Saturday. I worked so hard even though I was feeling rough. It's good to know that my efforts have paid off.

Sold my first international item! A very nice lady bought one of my necklaces from Sweden. She is extremely excited about it. I need to sell more of those!

I made my 50th sale yesterday. My goal was 50 by the end of the year, and I managed to do it early. I'm very excited! Congratulations to everyone for meeting their goals and making some sales!

Hi all:

7 sales so far....

My Etsy site has been up for about 2 weeks now. Sale and visiting seem to have stalled a bit but I'm hoping that Christmas may help!
