This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer
• Your shop was featured in the press or in social media

I just had my first sale of the year! Woohoo!

I've also seen my daily views doubled after reworking every listing for better SEO. It's nice to see all that hard work pay off! Now I'm going to focus my energies on learning to use social media to turn those views into sales...

I opened my shop april of last year and have had a handful of sales, nothing to write home about. I am celebrating my commitment this year to my shop and my art. Oh and also to not feeling over whelmed by all of it. That's my major celebration, one step at a time. Thank you.

I Just sold my 200th item! Yay! I opened in July 2012 and am so stoked to have reached my 200th sale within 7 months!!!

Hello everyone,

I am celebrating 100 Etsy sales of my original art work in painting, drawing and mixed media. Sales number 97, 98, and 99 came on consecutive days, then a long lull until #100.... kind of built up the suspense!

Thanks to everyone who has helped me along the way. To anyone who is feeling a little discouraged out there, I have to say the first year was mostly a learning experience; 2nd year everything started to gel.

I did my first craft show this month and passed my goal of making back the money I put in to it! I made 3 times as much as I needed to break even and was able to interact with people and get feedback on my pieces. I also sold one of my most expensive pieces which made me feel really good about my pricing since that one was marked at retail price and not just to make a small profit.

The experience has made me very excited to keep adding pieces to my Etsy shop and put more time into my Facebook page since I had a great response to my work. My goal this year now is to get 100 items listed in my shop and to hone my craft to be able to work all of my prices up to retail and not discounted some. I appreciate all of the help I have had on Etsy as far as pricing, selling, pictures, and general support. Thanks guys!

Although still new, but today I spent most of the day retaking pics using feedback so that's exciting! I'm hoping to improve every day :-) and this thread is very inspiring--thank you all for sharing!

Started my shop on January 2, and had a goal to reach 20 sales by the end of February. Today I hit my 20th sale!!!! So excited! Can't wait to list more :)
