This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer
• Your shop was featured in the press or in social media
• You recently opened your shop
• You’re celebrating your Etsyversary

Thanks Diana and Beazerk- It does look like everyone else that sells stoppers shows the whole picture. I was thinking of expanding my selection and sell multiple things with similar designs. So for example Your choice of a wine stopper, letter opener, purse hook, etc. with the same picture listing. But I guess this might be tricky if the price if different on things.

Hi Everyone!
I am extremely excited!! I reached my goal for the month of Jan...I made my first sale!!! My customer ordered 21 of my gift bags!!!

In 16 days I have also earned 155 views and 9 people favoring some of my items. I have been opened a little over one month and knowing that my items are being viewed is encouraging.... Hurray!!!

I was so excited and a little scared at the same time that I confess I got a little teary eyed. Today is my one year Etsy anniversary! I had wanted 100 sales by this date and I came up a little short with 87, but I never gave up. A dear person said to me just this week, "people who try are never failures." I guess that's how I feel, too! I created a treasury to honor me today - picking only the things that I love and that describe who I am from shops all over Etsy. It made me feel good & I'm already energized for year 2! Thanks to Etsy for all their wonderful support, training & constant ideas. Thanks to all my fellow Etsians for their friendship, patronage & support. As I read posts above mine, I could feel daunted by the prospect of 4000 sales, but instead I am blessed for what I have & for the ability to have worked to make a dream come true this year. Tomorrow is a new day and success will continue to greet me as long as I keep on trying.....

I finally made it to 50 sales this week, and then a few extra sales to spare!! I never would have thought I'd get here. Wahoo!!

I added my first batch of rehabbed estate pipes and restored vintage cigar/cigarette lighters here. I stopped restoring them a few years ago and decided starting that activity back up would be a good way to expand my vintage merchandise selection by breathing new life into the old and embrace some of the etsy DIY spirit..

I am also only 2 sales away from my 100th, so I will be back soon!

Things have been a bit slow in the shop but I was just featured in the January issue of Belle Armoire magazine, the issue that just came out. Will be in Altered Couture magazine in the Spring issue. I'm ecstatic! Hopefully my shop will pick up with the coverage!! Marci

I have been reading your posts to help me help my etsy shop. I just opened January 14th and I'm very excited with what's to come. There are so many posts I can't read them all. A friend of mine told me to join this team because it's loaded with information and will help me be successful. Any words of wisdon you can give me?
