This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers

I'm quite taken with this site because I opened my shop clueless on the first of September 2012 and I already have over 60 sales

I think I might have just hit a new milestone...finally figured out a background that works well with all of my jewelry. I have been fighting with white for too long. I know they say white will get us on the front page, but if it doesn't look good with our product, how much will it really help? I've done four new pieces on the new background and I love the way they photos turned out. Now to find time to retake and edit all of the current photos.

I'm celebrating my second sale of the year! YAY! I only sold one headband right before Christmas (as opposed to nine last year), so I am hopeful that my shop is not on its last leg after all??? :) At least it makes me hopeful and excited! YAY! Thanks to my sweet buyer!!!!

One cool thing that happened to me at the end of last year was one of my items made it onto the front page. It was on for an hour and the views and favorites went ballistic! Granted - i didn't actually make any sales from it... but it certainly gave me a thrill for a while.

My success is very modest, but a big one for me.
I had my first sale of the year a couple of days ago, that makes 2 sales ever.
The thing that has me quite pumped is that it sold within minutes of posting, which to me means my work is good, I just need to work on exposure.

I have started my first successful Sale. I advertised it as a One Day Only Sale Today and I have already had one order, and 4 items purchased. I was starting to get worried with few sales and many items posted.

I have been open since November 2012 and I just had my first sale. Celebrate! I am so happy about that especially since my brother advised me to close my shop since no one was interested in my jewelry. I showed him...haha.

Two years! 730 Days! I have worked on my shop every single day since I started!

I just passed my two year etsy anniversary this week! I've had a great two years and learned so much, I'm just under 300 sales and business keeps steadily increasing. Thank you Etsy!

I'm working on 7 orders this weekend. That's unheard of for me. This January is shaping up to be my best month ever in the 1 1/2 years I've been on Etsy. I'm still so excited to meet new customers, engage with Etsy shop owners, and create new things for my shop. I am having a wonderful day!

I opened my store on Dec 3, 2012 and so far I have sold 3 items. It's very motivating when you get your first sale.If there are any tips to increase my sales I would love to hear it. Thank you.

I opened my shop Aug 30, 2012 and I just sold today my 9 item. I love the feeling, different that crafting and truly motivating to adding more creativity to my craft.

I opened my shop 1 year and 1 month ago and have 32 sales. Not much ( but I blame skyhigh shipping prices from my country) but in general I am glad , and November plus December 2012 were just great !
