This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers

I am so excited I just had my first sale of 2013! I thought I would have a slow period for a while- since many of my items are gift items and I also have a slow moving shop... but to my surprise I found an interested buyer today!

I raised my prices on the 1st and had a repeat buyer still make a purchase. I didn't realize how awesome that was until annother seller (that I love) made a comment about it.

Although I have been selling my knitting for years at my local farmers market during the winter months I recently decided to also go online. I have had 4 sales so far on here since I opened about a month ago, but I am very excited that my mittens were mentioned on a blog!

Etsy has opened so many doors for my little company & i just love it! Hoping to break the 1000 sales mark this year, maybe a little adventurous, though always dream big i say!

Sales were so good in 2012 that I had to purchase another sewing machine. The sounds that those two machines made going at the same time were music to my ears. Lots of repeat customers as well as new customers and the great part is how much I really enjoy making things for them. There's a saying "If you really enjoy your job, you'll never work a day in your life". So true, huh?

Hello, Team! I just joined the Etsy Success Team. I opened a store on Etsy November, 2012 and had my first sale 2 days later...I was thrilled!! Since then I have had 39 sales and couldn't be happier. What I love about Etsy is the target market, and the ease of setting up my listings....much easier than other online selling sites that I have tried in the past. The customers and fellow Etsy members are the nicest I've ever met. Thank you for the support and fellowship I have experienced since becoming an Etsy member.

We are celebrating reaching 50 shop admirers this week! :) And we have started showing up in Google searches which is also really exciting!!

We have been working hard, new designs, editing photos, editing titles and tags... it's so rewarding to see it all coming together and connecting with people all over the world. We are at 13 sales and looking forward to many more!

It's a little overwhelming at times to see others with thousands of sales and Facebook likes, but it's also very inspiring to see what is possible. Setting new goals for visits and sales and very excited about our new design ideas for 2013! Quite a departure from what we have been doing.

We are very excited to be a part of the Etsy community <3

Thanks to help from Melissa Drake of HappyGoLicky Jewelry, I am now grossing monthly exactly the same amount that I net teaching at a small private school. My hope is to double this figure so that I can afford my own health insurance, quit teaching and work from home. It's a lofty goal, but Licky has shown me over a six months period, that my goal is attainable. Never thought I'd be making rings, but this is what is working for me. Thanks Etsy, and thanks Melissa Drake! What a great mentor!

I made 100 sales and didn't even know it...go figure. I love the wedding business and I am so excited that I'm doing well right now!! I'm very grateful to Etsy and my customers. They have been top notch wonderful!

Looking forward to more sales...my goal would be 500 this year. Probably a little adventurous, but oh well. Would love to get better at Facebook...well maybe?

Today is my 1st anniversary with Etsy and it has been great! I didn't have too much confidence in my computer skills in the beginning but I have been steadily learning, thanks to the wonderful people in Success Teams and others.
