This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

My first sale of the year turned out to be sale 101! Crossing 100 has been a long time in coming. A lot of my work is custom orders, so even really big orders (one was 32 items) count as one sale.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Hope it continues and we all have a great year.

I had one sale last night and another today, after I had come to terms with the fact that the holiday rush is absolutely, completely over. I didn't think I would have another sale until after I get my inventory back up, but, hey, I'm glad that wasn't a factor for my last two customers! :)

I just got my 10th (online) sale! That makes 4 On & Offline sales in the last 30 days! Increasing my stock and steadily adding new items has definitely helped!

I started out adding one a week, (my planners take a while to design) and have increased to two a week. I just added my 40th item today (I am also starting to diversify, and include other types of items). This is way over last year (views increased by over 10x last year's views)

My goal this year is to keep it growing. I am no where near "quitting my day job" status (though I am job hunting, and have more time atm). It would be nice to get to the point where I could support myself just doing this. That is a far off goal for me.

After going my whole holiday break with no sales (I'm a teacher) I made 6 sales on my first two days back! Feeling so blessed right now :)

My name is Joanna Serio & my shop, Rustic Brick Road sells personally seeked vintage treasures from old roads and towns, that add a touch of the past to the present. We opened shop at the end of October 2012. I am pleased to share that with in two months we have achieved over 30 Sales. The first item sold on Rustic Brick Road was this Ugly Fish Bottle. I cannot BELIEVE how successful my holiday season was this year in terms of sales. I put in the work, but I know a lot of people do, and not all shops see results. I saw crazy results. CRAZY. A third of the total sales ever in my shop happened in December. (And I'd already thought the 120 orders I had in November was insane...December was almost twice that.)

For next year, I know I can't predict exactly which items will sell the best (because a lot of mine are pop culture-y, and those change), but I'm definitely going to prepare better in stocking up on finished stitches. I didn't even put up my Christmas tree this year because I didn't want to spend the 2 hours taking it down and decorating it while I still had gift orders that needed to be filled. So in that sense, my personal holiday season was slightly less successful, lol.

I also found that having done a not-very-successful craft fair in the spring was extremely useful in the late fall. I had plenty of inventory on smaller items (like "your mom" mini) that I was able to send out immediately. That advantage wasn't something I was anticipating, but it means that I'm definitely going to prep for at least one craft fair again this year!

I'm psyched for 2013. : )

What a great start to the New Year! First, my Etsy purchase from Australia to the UK that I ordered on Boxing Day turns up, then I get a message telling me that I've been featured on a blog ( http://tinytipis.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/happy-new-year-1st-january-feature.html ) and then I find an order for three items!

I'm also joining forces more closely with two other Etsians, my brother Matt of Arcane Armoury and Georgina of Nevermore Dolls (...and more to come!) We'll be getting together in person at the end of the month, which I'm very excited about! We have started Skype chatting and are supporting Georgina, Captian of the Team 'In Here Life Is Beautiful' , as she has decided to pursue her Etsy shops full time! Exciting times :)

I've had a lot of success in the last month with my Etsy shop. It has been open for a while now, but I've really just started adding items and working on my photography. I have a lot of support from friends on facebook (www.facebook.com/FlowersBetterDressed) and even some traffic from my blog (flowersbetterdressed.wordpress.com/). This past week I reached 11 sales, and I have an order for over $150 worth of lingerie bags!! I'm excited to see what this new year holds.

Celebrate small steps...Just opened my shop in November 2012. I have had 3 sells. I hope that in the new year I will be selling more. Trying to find my groove with etsy and hope to have great success with all of it; so that i may do what I love while being a stay at home mom.

I want to celebrate my 1st sale, I was so nervous/excited about it from the start cause it was a custom order and I did my best to create a piece that would fill my customer´s expectations.

First time showing my labels, packaging and as well sending it overseas! Gladly, my customer was really happy with her item and as a result this made me happy & proud of me work as well.

This New Year I´ve set my goals, have a well stacked shop and hopefully get more sales!
