Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer

I opened my store in mid Nov, and just got my first sale! I'm very excited. While it has not been long since I opened the store, numbers of views were getting very low, so was getting worried.. But this first sale definitely gave me the motivation to keep going and keep trying :).

I've been here since Nov. 09, and this year I've more than doubled my revenue from last year! And I am now working only part time at my "real Job" :-)

I hit 1000 sales in right over a year!! - I didn't actually list my first item until the end of October of last year. I'm so over the moon and so thankful for the opportunities that have presented themselves!

A little over 2 years open and I just hit 800 sales!! Woohoo!!

I am celebrating because after watching the tumbleweeds go by last holiday season (my first) I have 36 ORDERS THIS season and hoping for that trend to continue as the year ends!!! and that's having lost time due to Hurricane Sandy...Got all my orders out when promised (so THAT's cause for celebration too!)

Please don't judge the look of my work space! I also sent them the pretty photo in my about page with my boys and I working when life was cleaned up but the chose the disheveled holiday space.

I started out my shop with just a few items, and every year my product line and sales double! I've been able to quit my day job and put all of my focus on my Etsy shop. I have learned so much over the last few years, I have now reached nearly 500 sales! My goal is to reach 500 by the end of this month, and the way this season is going, I very well may!! I hope as my experience and product lines grow, my sales will be able to reach the thousands and eventually allow me to open a studio, where I can teach others these skills. I couldn't have done any of this without Etsy! Because of them, I have been featured in magazines, on the local news, and was able to quit my day job and spend all of my time with my work and my family.

Growing Up Wild, I saw that article! Your workspace is spotless compared to mine! It looks like a yarn shop exploded into tiny bits, fabric scraps, strings and yarn scraps everywhere! Congrats on your success, your items are adorable, I only wish I had babies still! Keep up the good work!!!

Started selling towards the end of January 2012, and have been blessed to reach 100+ sales this month.

It's more then I anticipated for this year, but it's definitely opened my eyes to what I'm capable of. Now I'm setting higher goals for 2013 and beyond. :)

I am slowly closing in on my 300th sale. I now have 264. My goal for 2012 is 300 sales.
