This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer

My milestone is the selling of my very first Fuffalump through Etsy in March 2007. It helped launch a slew of new creations.

Today is my Etsyversary!! It almost forgot, it happened so fast! I decided this morning to have a sale!

I'm doing my "happy dance"--very first sale this week-end, and the next day I had a second sale. So excited.

This is my favorite thread to visit for inspiration. Today I'm celebrating my best month yet! I set a financial goal for November (and set it reasonably high) and I've surpassed it. Actually, if I sell a couple hundred $ more I'll double it! Nice to feel like I'm doing something right. Yay!

While I didn't have a sale for the Black Friday weekend, I did reach my highest number of item hearts for a day yesterday, on Cyber Monday. I think it was up to 228 in total.

In the push of getting set up for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I realized I wooshed past the 300 sale mark. It's taken several years to get here, but it's been great fun, and I hope it just keeps getting better!

After years of talking ourselves out of doing what we love except for ourselves and friends, we "jumped", as small as it is, by creating our shop. Our first sale made me scream - out loud - while my husband and I were playing with our 5 sons!

We have this dream we want to share with them, and though it will be a long road, our first sale this weekend made it feel possible.

Congratulations everyone!!!!!!
I've had a great first year... almost (five away) from achieving my goal of all 50 states in one year.
I was also featured in the Manhattan User's Guide online and had a great blogger say really nice things about my stuff.
All this and it was fun too!

One sale today (very small but significant in customer retention!). Two reserved listings soon to be purchased by customer requests! :) These feel like successes to me because previously I wasn't doing much with my Etsy shop because I was working full-time. Now that I am working from home and focusing on my Etsy shop I can feel the momentum building! :)

My Etsy supply shop is nearing its 5000th sale and I'm so very excited. Mind you, I did a massive closeout when I went back to school in January but getting ready to restock the 500+ items again!!!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeee!

Three banners sold in 2 days. That's super awesome for my small shop! Up to 36 sales and views have been over 50 every day for a few weeks now. Working my way up.
