This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer
• Your shop was featured in the press or in social media

This is such a gorgeous positive thread! Adding my little bit of happy to it, I'm waiting for the new Simply Homemade magazine to go live and when it does, there's going to be an interview with little floaty me on there! They're then publishing a blog the following day with a "how to" that I've written, photographed... " so I'm kind of excited!

Today I hit two big numbers for my shop: made my 50th sale since opening, and reached 91 FB fans! These numbers are so wonderful to me, I'm very happy right now to see how much support have given my shop! =^-^=

It was wonderful to check my e-mail today and find this sweet note about my pot scrubbers!

"I want to brag on your pot scrubbers! Have you ever tried one to scrub veggies? It works wonders on potatoes & carrots. Also, I had old frying oil splattered all over my washer and dryer. It has been a sticky mess on there for months! This morning, I sprayed on some Fantastic and then used your scrubber and voila`, it all came off quickly and easily. Now, my laundry appliances are sparkling! BTW, in case you are wondering... I used my pantry to fry egg rolls with the fryer sitting on my dryer. The result: "Bubble, bubble, toil, and trouble" (quote from Macbeth)"

I received some really great feedback today, which I'm so happy about. I've gone a bit of time without a sale and so this really did lift my spirits and let reaffirm that my work is something that can be enjoyed.

Also I've been listing a new item a day - haven't added my piece for today yet but intend to as soon as I get home.

My views & hearts have been great lately, so that's something to celebrate.

I made my 25 sale today, AND it was my first custom order! Things are looking up.

This seems a good time to thank everyone who has given great advice and support, as I've just made my 100th sale!
I've also had two wholesale orders, which I couldn't have done if if I hadn't raised my prices a few months ago after advice and support I was given here.
Sales have taken off over the last couple of weeks, and all the work I've done on the shop this summer is paying off, so just want to encourage others to keep at it.

I am just so excited ...We reached 100 sales in just 5 months...I can't believe it! This was my 1 year goal and to think that we achieved what seemed like only a dream in this time is simply amazing!

I am so thankful to everyone who has helped us and for all the wonderful advice and support the Etsy community has given to this Newby!!! I still have lots to learn and look forward to Looney Bin Trading Co growing!

Next Goal is...My husband and I want to be able to do JUST this...no more going to "work"...Looney Bin Trading Company full time in the next year!

We have ALMOST gotten all our ducks in a row to accept etsy gift cards and credit cards. Have had our shop for awhile, really started trying to promote it in Jan. this year, and now just waiting for the final paperwork on a checking account. Hoping for an increase in sales and visibility. We celebrated today!

I have to celebrate the Shop Local Feature for Brooklyn!

I've had 13 sales since opening last January, and all but 3 are folks in Brooklyn. Event organizers are finding purlBknit through this feature and
selling in person is something I know I can do! Etsy is opening doors.

There is the P.S.321 Holiday Shop AND the Holiday Fair at Brooklyn Lyceum. My winter is booked and I couldn't be happier.

Yesterday I made my FIRST SALE and today my Gold Touch Hair Comb was featured in a BNS! (And learned what those are....) Very exciting! I love the concept of sellers supporting sellers.

I'm celebrating because after a year of research and changing tags and pictures it's seemed to pay off...for 2 weeks in a row I've had consistant sales and am now at 7 and hopefully many more to follow!

My milestone is that I have been selling on Etsy since March of 2006. I was part-time with an office job but this past year I was able to go full time selling online which means more time promoting and time to open my second Etsy shop!

I just had a sale, with the promo code for next year! So I both have a sale and don't have to stress so much getting them finished in time for Christmas!
