This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer
• Your shop was featured in the press or in social media
• You recently opened your shop
• You’re celebrating your Etsyversary

Congrats everyone! I hit 100 sales at the end of December. Yay!!! Also made my 1st sale of 2012 this morning.

2011 really gave me a preview of the success I can have if I continue building, networking, and creating. I was mentioned in many blogs, even a magazine; reached 300 sales, and sold out of my biggest item on the first day of a large bazaar! I got my business license and registered my business name. This year I really need to work hard on creating products that will carry me through the summer months, as well as keeping on my winter items, as there is always winter somewhere I have learned this year! I really need to get myself organized, and work hard to keep up on new projects and stock for my Etsy shop.

Woohoo! My goal at the beginning of 2011 was to reach 1500 sales (I started out with 700) by the end of the year. I hit 1750 yesterday to end out the year! A big hug to all of the Etsy staff for all of your success tips and advice. You guys are the best!

I just made my first sale of 2012!

and I am so happy about it ♥

it is a piece of embroidery that took over 14 hours to finish, and it is very complex and close to my heart because it was the main figure of the first embroidery art exhibit I ever made :D

I am so happy! I started 2012 with a bulk custom order of one of my signs! The customer wants 11 of them! I better get started right now but just wanted to share my success!

a treasury that i am featured in is on the front page right now! this is the second time i have been featured on the front page. never as the curator though.

I've had my first sale of the year. Yes, I consider that a milestone since this is January.

My shop opened with a very slow start in October with only one sale that month. But in 2012, I have had at least 1 sale every day!! Come on, let's get one today and keep the trend going!

I'm pretty excited that I finally got my stuff together to get this done - finally I'm selling to USA as well as Canada! It was a big step for me, not sure why, but it feels great to accomplish that.

Next step, internationally!

I am so happy!!!Guys, a couple of months ago I was so discouraged thinking, 'Okay, this handmade business might not work, but at least it's a fun and rewarding hobby' (always staying positive even with no sales) and today I am dancing!!!!

I received a custom order for 11 of my signs last week and today I sold another one of my decoupaged bracelets and this equals to my 30th sale! Yes I reached 30! Next milestone is at 50, and I will definitely publish here again!!!

I am celebrating being much of the way through a massive rephotographing project... bringing consistency to my shop, with photos I actually like, has felt like a real accomplishment.

I'm excited to share that we are having our best Jan ever on Etsy! Already this month we have exceeded our previous sales records! Can't wait for the rest of the month!

have just hit the $1000 mark. am very excited and my new goal is to have 100 sales. i am at 44 right now. hope the increased views and hearts will lead to increased sales. 2012 has been good so far : )

I can't believe it, I was in such a slump in November and December but, quite literally, the moment January hit I started getting a huge spike in views and sales!. I have had 19 sales already! It's incredible! Not only am I getting steady views and sales, but they seem to be steadily increasing views and sales! Yay!
