This team is dedicated to sharing business advice in a supportive environment. From the day you first set up your shop to the day you think about quitting your day job, there's so much to learn. Luckily, one of the best things about selling on Etsy is the support and encouragement from other sellers.

Whether you’re brand new to selling on Etsy or you can count the years on both of your hands, you probably have some milestones that you’d like to celebrate with all of us. Post your milestone in this thread. Every month, we'll highlight some of our favorite posts, so join the celebrations!

Please also introduce yourself in your post if you’re new to the Etsy Success Team—describe what you sell and how long your shop has been open.

Here are some examples of milestones (but remember that all personal milestones big or small are worthy of celebrating!):

• You made your 1st sale / 1st international sale / 1st custom order
• You reached (x) # of sales
• You added (x) # of listings in your shop
• You have (x) # of views / favorites / admirers
• You received positive feedback from a buyer
• Your shop was featured in the press or in social media
• You recently opened your shop

I made my third sale two days ago and my fourth sale yesterday (both of my moustache themed 2012 printable calendar, making it my "best seller"), I am pretty excited about this improvement in sales, as little as it is, it is huge to me

I finally have over 50 items listed in my shop, even after getting a few sales! I was hovering around 25 for so long... And so far my November sales are more than the whole month of October, which was my best month yet!

I'm celebrating because it felt like things had been really slow lately, but at some point last week, I passed 2300 sales. I also went over 300 facebook fans (now if I can just figure out what to do on my page for them!!! lol) THANK YOU ETSY!

There are some AWESOME stats and milestones achieved here. I hit my 40th sale just as I hit 4 months and my goal is to hit 50 by Dec.1. I'm ecstatic to be doing this well in a very saturated jewelry market.

Over 1500 unique blog views, + over 2000 favorites since August last year. I really feel like I've improved since I opened last year and hope to keep going up from here! :)

I had only listed patterns on here in the past. Yesterday I started listing our signs in my newly named store on here and I am celebrating 150 views already so that gives me hope that my signs interest people...of course now I wonder why 1 of those 150 didn't want to own one....lol

a little milestone for me, having 2 etsy sales in a week :-)
1 was a huge custom order for america so I am really chuffed xxx
Etay has been a struggle for me only been here since april and only had 7 sales, though in the last 2 weeks I am getting loads of hearts and favourites, and items used in treasuries daily xxx

I have a very small but potent goal to report... I listed my first two items to sell. For me it was easier said then done, but I am glad that I took the baby steps to accomplish this goal.

I am happy!!!

I dont want to start another thread, but can any of our Etsy shop owners that have been here a while, give an idea of what to expect for the next few months? As a new shop, I am very pleased with my sales so far. Nothing spectacular, but in the realm of jewelry I think 22 sales since August is a great start. I am in the hole big time and just spent another big chunk of $$ for inventory I hope to get posted in the next week.

What can we expect as far as sales in and around Thanksgiving? Is Cyber Monday really the biggest day?

I am scheduled for surgeyr mid Dec and wonder if I am going to miss alot of sales the week of Dec 12th while I am on Vaca???

What can we expect for After Holiday Sales - say Jan/Feb?

Let's keep the positive vibes going. The views for my shop have increase in the last 24 hours and I have an admire for one of my items and I just put my listed my two items (and growing) yesterday!

This is significant....to me that is :)
