Boot camp launches on Thursday! Would you like a partner to bounce ideas off of, give you a hand when you need it, and keep you on track through this year’s Holiday Boot Camp? Connect with on of your Etsy companions, reach out to a member of one of your Etsy Teams, or connect with each other in this forum thread. Let other members of the team know what kind of buddy you would most like to partner with. Are they also a jewelry artists? Or maybe you’re looking for someone who also works with upcycled materials? Or maybe you want to find someone nearby?

Wonderful idea! I would love to have a bootcamp buddy! I sell cards and jewelry, planning to expand to other gift items (home decor and wine accessories). This will be my first holiday season on Etsy and I would love to have a buddy who's been through a few holiday seasons.

I'd love to get a buddy who does *different* art/crafts than me! The truth is, I'm way more likely to enthusiastically promote someone who isn't my *direct* competition.

For reference, my biggest areas are Photography, Bath and Body and Cards and Tags.

It would be great if you're also someone else who works a full time job or at least understands that *I* work a full time job and (much to my dismay) can't devote myself to my shop 24/7, but still want to see it become as successful as humanly possible. :)

Never been through the boot camp before but I'm willing to work very hard - have lots of time to devote to this - I make jewelry elements, tags, cards, upcycled books, and various paper items. I would not be in competition with you although I do love to knit and crochet for myself so I do have some knowledge of your world. I promote myself on facebook, and I do lots of craft shows, I am a member of several teams, I try to list items several times a week, and I'm forever checking my stats. I have no idea what I'm getting into with this boot camp but I love a challenge. If you think we would make a good fit let me know.

Anyone here need an eco friendly buddy? I use only organic hemp, and natural, vintage, or repurposed beads/pendants in my work. This is my first year, and I have learned so much already. I am looking for someone who also has learned a lot in a short period, someone who can learn as much from me as I can from you. I am a sahm and can't devote too many hours to my shop as I prefer to spend my time w/ my little girl, but while she sleeps I am crafting, typing, and trying to promote, and have fun getting to know others on etsy. I don't prefer a craft type, just as long as you are as eco friendly as me, and you enjoy what you do. Check me out in my shop and contact me if you think we might be a great match. I have two shops, one which I promote regularly and is quite successful and the other which I do less promotion to keep costs down thus is less successful so I would like to learn a lot more about backlinks and social networking...someone who will be willing to help weed through the minefield of information....
