Boot camp launches on Thursday! Would you like a partner to bounce ideas off of, give you a hand when you need it, and keep you on track through this year’s Holiday Boot Camp? Connect with on of your Etsy companions, reach out to a member of one of your Etsy Teams, or connect with each other in this forum thread. Let other members of the team know what kind of buddy you would most like to partner with. Are they also a jewelry artists? Or maybe you’re looking for someone who also works with upcycled materials? Or maybe you want to find someone nearby?

So got to be honest. This whole holiday season and buddy talk scares me just a little.

I live in Fresno, tx and would like one that is preferably close. I am somewhat new, a few months in, and I draw, knit, etc. Maybe your hobby is different, maybe its the same. I would just like to join someone that is somewhat put together. Knows that to do this, they will have to work hard and doesn't already have their shop falling apart.

Besides that Im not sure. I just know when I meet that person I will know they will make a great holiday buddy. Oh I also prefer someone close so maybe we can help each other out with local craft fairs to get our feet wet. Who knows.

I'd love to have a buddy too! This will be my first bootcamp. I focus on wall art--right now it's just art prints but I will be adding two more product lines soon. Would love to team up with someone who works with fabric, paper goods, or other home decor items. Though I work fulltime, I am very dedicated to my business. Looking for someone who is equally motivated and is willing to be a sounding board. I will be sure to return the favor :-)

I would like a "seasoned" buddy since this is my first experience with boot camp. I make jewelry and would like someone who also makes jewelry so we can bounce ideas off one another. I am hardworking but I do have a full time job during the day, so I know my etsy work will be in the evenings and on weekends. I am still learning things on the computer so someone who is a little techno savvy might be helpful. I also do not have a blog, facebook, twitter. I'm in the Chicagoland area.

I'll be out of town this weekend, so I may be a little behind--a slow starter.

I need a buddy! I have been here almost a year and a half, but this is my first time doing boot camp. I sell mixed media art and small housewares and decoupaged jewelry. I have intermediate computer skills, but I'm not exactly tech-savvy. I work part-time outside the home, but I probably devote at least 80 hours a week to my shop. I have also recently opened a second shop.

I would like someone who has been through at least one Etsy holiday season, who is comfortable with social media (I'm so-so, and need some help with that) and blogging (I'm trying to get a blog off the ground). But it's ok if you're not - we can learn together. Someone easygoing but dedicated to their business - and a sense of humor helps!
