On Wednesday November 5th at 3pm (EST) we'll be hosting a live crash course in Holiday Marketing in the Online Labs. Ask your questions here about holiday marketing and we'll take the time to answer as many as possible during our 30 minute session.

Fantastic! Just in time and what I need! Great advice! What time is lab or will a msg be sent? My 1st real holiday as business verses prior hobby. So much to list, I dropped the ball so to speak, so this lab is greatly welcomed! Thank you, looking forward to the assistance:-)

Would love to get some more advice. I agree with previous post that my shop has been very quiet this year. Is it the economy, or something else? Someone told me that the search engines won't show old photos, so do we need to refresh our photos every 6 months? Would love to know if this is true.

I too agree with those that say their shops have been quiet coming into the holiday season. I hope it picks up. I did have a great one last year. Any new things I learn will add value to my shop.

This is my first Holiday Season on easy and I am looking forward to my first lab.

This is my first season and I've love to know if opening a shop FB page and twitter account and other social media works well at this time of year. It would be great to hear the advice of seasoned Etsy sellers. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be part of this.

My sister and I opened our shop this past August, so we are excited to learn as much as possible to be successful.

Always ready to learn as much as possible! Past holiday seasons on Etsy have taught me that setting correct and clear ship dates and shipping as fast as possible around the holidays is critical. I find that a fast turnaround time eases customer anxiety and cuts down on the "When will my order ship?" messages that can clog up your Inbox around the holidays.
The post office, UPS, and Fedex will all be extra busy and packages may take longer than anticipated while in transit; so the sooner you can ship; the better!
