Chris - According to the Terms of Use: You must not use Conversations to send unsolicited advertising or promotions, requests for donations or "spam."
I couldn't find the link, but i feel as though you aren't supposed to use people's emails without their permission unless it is related to a particular transaction. It could be said that buying from this person means you agree to receive their newsletter, but I don't think that is what this kind of rule intends. I would be extremely put-off by receiving a newsletter for which I didn't explicitly sign up, and wouldn't return to that shop again.
