Renewing several items daily or using Search Ads?

Which will drive more traffic to your shop if you can't afford to consistently do both?

I haven't had any luck with search ads, so i'd say renewing.. then again, you could spend that money on materials for a brand new product! Completely new listings would be better than either option in my opinion..

From what I have read, most people do not think search ads work for them, and it is often called the "newbie tax."

NO to search ads, but also NO to renewing several items a day.

You want to make the best use of SEO (search engine optimalization), have unique quality items and present them in a stunning way.

Then you want to find your target market and promote to them, outside of Etsy.

I also find then when you join teams they help promote my items. But I do renew some things every few days if I have not completed something new. My craft is time consuming so hard to post something new every day.

I definitely agree with Bea. Since the seach engine has defaulted to relevancy, I try to focus on my tags now instead of just clicking that renew button (save $ too!)

I had tried search ads when they first came out--terrible choice for me.

Bea said it - both strategies are a waste of money IMHO.
