New Shop...I need help.

I have not sold anything in weeks, I would like some feedback from you all. Is my banner good? Photos good? I am trying to be proactive and I bought Search Ads. Please take a look at my shop and tell me what you think.
Thank you so much for your ideas.

Re: New Shop...I need help.

Hi Laura, I looked at your shop. It looks really professional in my view. I love your photos. Hopefully it is just the time of year. I've been told it can be slow to start, don't give up. Xx

Re: New Shop...I need help.

Your shop looks great! Your photos are just perfect, and I love the photo of your packaging which makes your shop look really professional. The only suggestion would be to edit your listings a little. Since you ship international, I'd include the length in both inches and cm, and maybe bulk up your listing descriptions a little and include more information.

I'd really work on marketing too. I saw you added Search Ads - did you edit the keywords to include the most relevant words for your shop? You also don't link to facebook or twitter in your shop which would help. You may want to try advertising too, like on thedaintysquid.com or kaelahbee.com where the target demographic is women in the early - mid twenties.

Re: New Shop...I need help.

Laura,
I took a look at your shop and I think that it's gorgeous. The pictures of your jewelry are very clear and artistic. I agree with LitPrints regarding a little more description of your items. Maybe you could suggest a type of function that the jewelry could be worn, etc. It looks great!

Re: New Shop...I need help.

I just took a SUPER QUICK peek at your shop and, from what I saw, it looks amazing! Your banner is great, as are your photos. Your pieces have a cohesive feel to them, like I can tell they're yours and they would stand out in a page full of search results. I would NOT use summer months as any indication of anything. This is a slow time of year for everyone, not just Etsy sellers.

Re: New Shop...I need help.

I think you just need to be patient, Laura. I'm working on that one myself :-/

Your banner, avatar and photos are spot on...exceptionally good. As a visual artist I can offer you that much. As for your tags, titles, descriptions, etc. I will have to defer to the SEO experts.

Re: New Shop...I need help.

Laura, I checked everything out in your shop including your wonderful "About" page. 2 minor things:

1. Since there are other PeachTrees, you might want to add "Designs3" in small type below the larger type at the top so they remember that they saw YOUR shop.

2. Now here's the really obvious one... You have only been open since July! Slow down, take a deep breath. Remember that the holiday season is coming up and you WILL make sales. It took some of us months to make our first and then zzzzzzzzzzz our second sales! Relax. Keep producing. But really, keep promoting. There are free places here on Etsy to promote. One is the Promotions team. Each time you list or renew something, or even just want to show it off, there is a discussion thread in that team to let you list it.

3. (added number) Join a couple of teams. Don't overwhelm yourself. Teams expect you to show up now and then and add a comment and help each other out, like this. There are specific jewelry teams. You might find one for earrings that suits you. I don't know. Look at all the team lists. Maybe one for your state or even specific area (I'm in one in southern Oregon and you can't get more specific than that!!)

Good luck, and good patience. I also hope you're checking out all the shops who are offering suggestions. It's a goodwill thing to do. Put them in circles. They will click on your and favorite your things and people will see them. Circles see Circles. Etsy is a big place. Put yourself out there...

Re: New Shop...I need help.

Hi Laura,
Visited your shop, and your banner and pics are very nice, as are your items!
Don't be discouraged, I think you'll see your sales picking up real soon. Your jewelry will make awesome gift items, and people are starting to shop for Christmas!
Take this time to build up you inventory, so you're not overwhelmed as sales increase.

Re: New Shop...I need help.

Beautiful shop! I noticed on your about page you did not have links to facebook and twitter. I would definitely start taking advantage of those free social media sites! I love the name of your shop!

I agree with Nicole, its super slow right now. Hang in there! When you have a quality product it sells!
