Hi Sarah! I'm not sure if your banner and avatar represent your shop well... This is only because, while I love that you have product shots in both, the text is very distracting. In the banner, the text is hard to read and the pictures are hard to make out at first glance because both of those elements are competing for the spotlight. What if you kept the text and faded the pictures behind? This would make the text more prominent and allow the viewer to read it, THEN get to see the pictures behind.
I feel the same way about your avatar but they don't compete quite as much. The item gets lost because it's white on white. I might eliminate the text and use an item pic with color?
I don't mean to be a downer. I think everybody deserves constructive criticism and I just wanted to share my personal opinions.
The following photos would be great as avatars and I don't think you'd even need the "finding starlight" text!
