Need help with sales

I'd really appreciate having my shop critiqued. What do I need to do to get more sales?
Any criticism will be appreciated!

Thank you,

Joni

Re: Need help with sales

Hello Joni,

I was looking at your jewelry listings. Perhaps you could post pictures of what the jewelry looks like worn on a person. Sometimes people want to know what it would look like on them before they buy it. ;-)

I hope this bit of advice helps.

Have a nice day!

Re: Need help with sales

I think jewelry is just a really saturated market and you need to keep plugging away at it. Your descriptions and prices seem fine.

Maybe Stephanie is right about having jewelry photographed on someone, but be careful with earrings. Some people are put off by seeing the pair they are going to buy on a model.

I think the biggest thing now is tags for relevancy search. People are saying it's better to use phrases that people would search for than to use single words. Like "jewelry" and "necklace" are so broad people will never find you, but if you say, for example, "flower jewelry" or "vintage necklace" or "turquoise necklace" it's supposed to bring in more results.

Also, the more stuff in your shop, the better chance of being found. People say 100 is like a magic number when people start to discover your shop.

But your shop looks great really! Just keep at it :)
