Hi guys, thank you for all of your helpful comments. I think I didn't explain my question well. What I'm trying to say is that when you look at one of my listings, for example this one:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/94984571/glassine-candy-favor-bags-happily-everIf you read the description you will see that this style bag come in a few color (silver or gold lettering) and size (XS, S, M, L, XL) variations. Color choice does not impact pricing, but the size choice does. The listing is priced for the buyer's choice of either XS or S size bags but M, L, and XL bags all cost more.
As you might imagine, this leads to confusion sometimes when I get someone that buys the listing but puts in seller commetns that they want a L size bag, for example. Then I have to go back and forth to explain that actually, a L size bag is more expensive.
I've added color options in a drop down menu where the customer can choose either silver or gold, and I have also added a drop down menu for XS or S size options. However I still want the customer to know that they can request M, L, or XL options (but they cost more)
I'm hoping to figure out a way to list my variations so that it is intuative and easy for customers while also helps to reduce confusion and multiple rounds of convos (which also takes a lot of time).
Hope that clarifies my question. Any thoughts?
