Mashable?

Checking my shop stats today, I see my shop got a hit from mashable.com, but I can't find any kind of relevant link on the site. That's the first time (outside of pinterest, which is impossible to back-track) I've had unexplained hits from a website.

Are the origins listed in our shop stats set up so that someone might click on a general "Etsy" link, then eventually get to my shop and have it show up as originating from mashable (not Etsy, even though they might have been clicking around on Etsy before reaching my shop)?

Or should I keep looking for the origin of this view?

I don't have an answer for you, but I have experienced this as well. In the past 30 days, I've had 10 hits from Homedepot.com. I figure it's a mistake.....but an odd one, for sure!

I know...I get views from the strangest sites I've never heard of. I really don't know how to find the exact origin of your views.

I assume the hit yesterday was probably from mashable admin looking around at the shops they put in this list, which is pretty cool -- I always love to see selections of Etsy shops on non-Etsy sites...

Now the only mystery that needs solving is where Jessica's Home Depot hits are coming from!
