Blogging Helps

I just started blogging after reading the promotion ideas in the etsy handbook again! Now what? How do you get people to read your blog so they can ultimately go look at your etsy store and shop. Do I keep putting new articles under post or do I start a new blog each time?

I feel like I am going to be chasing stats on blogger now too. I could really use advise from those of you out there who are good at blogging and have a following.

Thanks

Re: Blogging Helps

I've just started using Blogger.. I really wish I could come up with interesting or useful Blog posts.. but I have no idea what to write. I think it could be a great tool.. just for the social side a lone.

All I know is, it helps if you find Blogs you like or find posts (at least) that interest you, leave comments with a link to your own Blog. It's promotion but not pushing it in someones face. You can "connect" with people too, join their blogs, so you appear in the "friend" list. Hopefully this would happen the other way round too...

If I were you, each time I had something new to say, or a picture to post I would start a new blog post. Make sure the title etc is good too - all keywords!! Gr

I think as with all the other types of things, it can take time.
