Marketing help needed...

I dont know what is happening but after I read all the posts and advices I am still not getting more views or sales.

I am promoting my etsy store on Facebook. I did a free shipping coupon, and I also took good pictures of my items. But that didn't work. I bought a showcase on april 18th but it didn't make difference.

Can somebody help me?

I feel your pain...really I do....I have tons of views, but still no sales. I haven't had a sale since 2009. Totally sucks.

Wow... I read your post, and I understand you completly with the price problem.

I got two sales but it is not going anymore.

Oh, check out Google Adwords they're giving away $75 of free advertising and you don't have to put any credit card info in or anything (on set up, select manual payment instead of prepayment and then enter the code they email you). I just started using it and I've seen a few more visitors it seems. I think you have to get the code before april 30th though, so just letting u know :D

First you need to get your shop together. If they get there and then think you don't look professional (read: reliable, worthy of my money) they'll move on.

You need a shop banner and a description of what you sell (in your shop description). That's the first thing people see, and you need to make a good impression. From a quick look, I'm not sure what you sell, jewelry? supplies? Sum it up in the first lines of your shop announcement.

I keep reading about having more items for sale, but if the items you have aren't selling, how will adding more of the same help? I have a variety of items within my niche of using vintage buttons and all are one of a kind, so I hesitate to list yet another pin, for example, although it is totally different than the rest. What am I missing? help! :)

Your avatar/icon maybe should be switched to one of your products since your name in the forums doesn't giveaway what you sell. Also some of your pics are darker that others (turquoise items especially). Search threads for "light box" and you'll get tons of help with that.

And, your Policies, what are they? How am I supposed to pay, how is the item shipped, how long does it take, do you accept returns?

Also, have you been renewing? It really helps, with views anyway. I renew or post a new item about every day M-F.

and make sure you're using ALL of your tags. that's the only way people can search for you.
