I got an order that was "marked as a gift." Next to it, it said "Don't open me." This is new to me. Is there something I'm supposed to do? I'm used to people asking to put a gift note in. Is that what this is? Am I supposed to include that note?
This is the confusing part about orders as gifts. I think Etsy needs to clarify this to buyers so we can do what the buyer wants. Anytime I am. It sure what the buyers request is I convo them. In this case my guess would be add a tag or small card that says Don’t open me.
Marking as a gift generates a packing slip without prices. It also prints the buyer's note. I think this is a nice feature, though it means a little extra finesse on my part when I have multiple items to ship.
