Looking for constructive criticism!

I've had my shop open for quite a while but have only really started stocking it properly this year. Sales for me on Etsy are very slow and I think I need some fresh eyes to give me a kick in the right direction!

I'm still getting my head around the title and tags issue and think I need to bump the name of the items to the end of the title, but any suggestions on this and on the shop in general would be very much appreciated.

Your photos could use improvement. The jewelry doesn't stand out. Either they need to be photographed closer or they need a different background. I am not an expert at photography, all I know is that when I look at your pieces everything looks washed out. You have really nice jewelry and it should pop out at people when they hit your shop.

The photographs don't do justice to the beautiful jewelry. They seem kind of hazy .May be brighter pictures could help as your jewelry is really pretty.
Good luck!

As it was said before, the key is the light and closer photos.
You have really great items!!

Re: Looking for constructive criticism!

My photography skills are pitiful, so take my advice for what it's worth, but... I have to agree with the others - your photos aren't great. The jewelry is Gorgeous! but the photos are bla & boring. The jewelry doesn't stand out. A different color background might help. I didn't notice the pictures being fuzzy, they just don't pop. If I'd been a real shopper, I'd have landed on your page & immediately thought "boring" & moved on due to the bla-ness of the photos.

Your descriptions are great though & I didn't notice any spelling/grammar errors in the few I looked at. Good job!

Re: Looking for constructive criticism!

Thanks for the feedback so far - I had hoped I was getting these with the photos but looks like there's still lots of room for improvement.

One thing I have wondered, is does having 'Made in England' put off US and other international buyers? I ship worldwide but wondered if this might be an issue.

Please keep the comments coming!

P.S. Thank you to everyone who said nice things about the jewellery!

Re: Looking for constructive criticism!

I'm a novice at this but i think the others are right. You should add a little pop to your photos by changing up the background etc. I also think you should have some pictures of your jewelry being worn so buyers can get a sense of size and how it wears. I love your stuff its super cute!! I wish you the best of luck :)
