Linking from listings - help please

I'm not sure if this is the right place to be asking this question, but here it is:

I have read that a link in the description of a listing is automatically active and you can click and follow. This only seems to work for links to other pages within etsy.

I have a listing for a pair of spiral hoop earrings, and I just blogged about my design and fabrication process. I wanted to include the link to the blog posting (http://aeliosdesign.blogspot.com/2011/07/design-process-sterling-silver-spiral.html) in the listing, but it's not clickable. (At least not for me...)

Does anyone know how I can solve this?

I think it only works within Etsy. Use the insert hyperlink feature in your blog post to add the link and you should be fine. Love your wooden bangles!

It works fine in my blog. It's the listing of the item on etsy that I'm having trouble with. Thanks though. :)

Etsy only makes other Etsy links click-able in item descriptions or in profiles....
