I love these interactive, help critique eachother games. I have had invaluable feedback and have appreciated it so much! I have also noticed that I shy away from critiquing a shop because,being a busy mom, it sometimes takes toomuch time to do an adequate and thorough critique.....
With that said, I propose we try this:

Let's act as if we are random shoppers who, like so many do, arejust stopping by to shop.

What is ONE thing that would compel you to shop at my shop?

and

What is ONE thing that would turn you away?

We can really give eachother some great tips and feedback without having to invest too much time.

Positive: Your items are really cute and your pictures are consistent with the background.

I get that this item propably is something only a certain demographic knows and that is you are targeting. But you also have other items that may not be found because of the lack of description on items like the one above. Every item is an opportunity to find our store and if this was the first item, I would walk in because I would be confused about what it was..

Turn Away : Photos especially for crochet items. They are either blurry or not focused on the item but on a background. You may want to try a white background or one not so busy.

Positive : Your descriptions clear and informative and prices are fair.

Jean, Thank you for your input. I actually working on retaking my pics and remove the dots background. Thank you so much for that advice. Sometimes the simple thing is the best right??? My boss gave me some first class stamps to sponsor me. That is the reason I do not charge for shipping withing USA bc my boss pays for it., LOL as soon as that money is gone then I will start charging shipping. So for now my custormers are the lucky ones. ☺

Turn away: Most of your picture look like they weren't taken in natural light. Natural light is the best for taking product photos.

Positive: Great idea for a product. I love origami. Your work is super cute.
Turn Away: Your backgrounds distract from your jewelry. Perhaps use a similar cup in each shot. I would keep things plain. I am really drawn to the pink ones with the river stone. It's a beautiful photo and I spent more time looking at that one.

Positive: Your colors and photos are yummy and the overall feel of your shop is very coherent. A single style and theme run through out.
Turn Away: The closeups sometimes leave me asking and what exactly is that object. Admittedly I'm not real familiar with the medium and sometimes one can figure it out from the title. I'm lazy enough though that I want to know what I'm looking at immediately. This is a picky point. Your draw is definitely stronger.

Your shop seems bright and fun. I really like that. I know everyone recommends a white background ( and I think it makes your items stand out), but I prefer your items with a more interesting background. I think these listings are some of your strongest photos:

I noticed the text on your banner is a little pixelated. www.picnik.com is offering their online photo editing for free right now, and I find it's really awesome and easy to use for shop pictures, including text!

On first impressions I like you modelled photographs of heads, particularly the ones on the first page where the model isn't looking straight into the camera with a crisp white background

I think to really buy I love to know a little bit more about each product. Your descriptions are quite short. Say the Silver Woodland Crown, what is it actually made from, is it really branches, or is it leather, or pvc?

I would buy in your shop because your items are great, I love the tote.

But I wouldn't buy in the shop because the pictures are not that good. I could see only how cute the tote was when I clicked it, maybe you can take all your pictures in the outside light and use the same not to dark background for them?
And see that the item shows well on the first picture you use, good luck!

Hi IIse! Your photos look great, I especially love your earrings! They look so sparkly and cute. However, when I look at a earring listing, I didn't find the size of the earring. And I also don't have anything to compare them too in a photo (like a coin or even in your hand) so I really don't know how they'll fit!

Also, I don't know if it's a good advice (maybe you could check it out with someone more experienced in SEO) but I think you don't have to waste a tag for "jewelry" because Etsy puts that tag in for you (being in the "jewelry" category). If you check a listing and go way down and see your tags, jewelry is written twice.

What is ONE thing that would turn you away? - I'm not too big on the quilt pattern, but I'm sure that's just me! lol I am a bit more boring and prefer maybe 2 patterns and not several. My friend next to me LOVES quilts so I'm sure she'll be shopping in your store soon!

I'm not really sure who's shop I am suppose to do this for so I'll just do PandiAccessories cos you're above me :)

ONE thing that would compel me to buy: I love all the bright colors of items and how bright the photos are!

ONE thing to turn me away: for ME, personally...the photos with the baby just aren't appealing. Yes they look cute on her and she's a cute baby but there's something about photos of babies showing off items to be sold that just doesn't appeal to me personally.
( I know most people will think totally otherwise but that's why we are voicing our own opinions)

The pictures can be little more brighter is what i feel. But the thing you have used models is great idea but not eye catchy .

I'm critiquing the shop above me, RosMariBrand.

ONE thing that would compel me to buy: your items are unique and your prices are great.

ONE thing to turn me away: the photos seem a little disjointed. With the hair accessory photos, it would look more uniform to use the same perspective and depth for each photo, therefore allowing the item itself to stand out.

Such a cute shop overall!
