Issues with International Orders

Hello! I hope someone can give me advice on this.
I have a shop announcement that clearly states I can no longer guarantee delivery on time for Valentine's Day (for international customers), I keep getting orders for my Valentine's Cards from Canada. Just woke up to 2 new orders from Canada this morning. Should I ship anyway? I know it could arrive on time, but it can also happen that it doesn't. I'm scared if they don't get it on time, I'll be dealing with some angry customers after Valentine's Day.
Any advice will be very much appreciated.

I would email them, and verify they saw the announcement. Maybe offer a refund if they no longer would like the item.

Hi Ivana,
Maybe drop a line to the customers just reminding them that you can't guarantee delivery in time for Valentine's Day and checking whether they still want the order? Probably better to double check rather then have unhappy customers....

Alternatively, is there any kind of fast courier service you could offer to get it there on time? You could give the customers that option and tell them the extra cost and see if they'd be happy to pay the extra.... they may be happy to pay extra to get your lovely cards!

I'd drop them a line just to confirm your shop announcement and warn them. At the same time you could tell them the costs of sending them on a priority service :)

I've found the Canadian mail service so erratic that I'm in full agreement with dropping a line to the new customers to check they saw your announcement and to offer a refund if they don't want to go ahead in the circumstances.

Maybe you can also edit your listings to include a line saying you can't guarantee delivery in time for Valentine's Day to anyone outside the US.
