In the beginning I was told to use a plain white background with natural light. So I did. Now on critiques some are saying this is boring and could be causing any overlook of my creations. what do you think? How should I tweak? I want to be one of those sellers that have slod hundreds even thousands lol. I know I have to get my inventory up but what can I do with my existing inventory photos. Thanks- Kim

OK - so I just started redoing my shop. My hubs made me a three sided box with a white bottom (all foam board). I can also make the bottom a spotty gray if I wish for white items. I have two lights at the front, daylight bulbs in those cheap metal lamp holders, they move and I can angle as I need. Spent probably $20 on the setup. I know they aren't perfect but they are a huge step up - I was going them on my concrete patio in natural sunlight before. On my cheap camera I was able to up the exposure (using + 1 2/3) and i think the white is white enough without altering the detail or color in my pieces.
Good luck to everyone making the switch. Will take me forever to update all. :)

@PiggleandPop
I looked at your shop quick... Gotta admit, when looking at your four top items, the round tangerine earrings who better on the white, than the sim color flowers do on the tan. it also seems like your light source is coming from the back on that pic maybe creating more shadows....
Just a thought...
