How many items are too many?

I have almost 400 items in my shop.

Most are baby/children's items. I also have adult items such as aprons, dish cloths, totes, cozies etc.

Do you think I should separate my shop into one for children and one for adult?

Should I keep it the same and just rely on searches instead of browsing for people to find items they want in my shop?

I really need some advice one this.

Well making sure to have the maximum number of categories and using that to focus your buyers will help. I think with the items you have I would not want to break out to another shop, all the added listing fees etc would be massive.

I think you should maybe rearrange the front page a little to show the variety more. If you have adult items place a few on the front page, that way when people land on your page they see the variety.

I guess I'll discover 'how many is too many' soon. In the process of moving all my ecovintagevegan inventory to my first born crudeco shop. Both usually stocked at least 100 handmade items.

I like being able to cross promote the handmade items I offer. Lucky enough I had enough section options.

I'm really far from having too many items, I only have 55 now.

I think as far as you have your shop well organized with categories, the more the better :D
