Introducing The New About Page For Your Shop

Hi sellers!

We've long ago established that telling your story on Etsy (of your product, of yourself, and of your shop) is incredibly important. Today we launched a dedicated place in your shop where you can share your story with the world. In your shop’s new About page you can add pictures of your process and talk through the special details that set your shop apart. Need help with picture sizing, what size is best to avoid award cropping?

I've heard a good size is 723 x 461.

Etsy, I am SO happy about this! It was asked by fellow etsians in the Ideas forums many times and you delivered. I just filled my page, just need to add more pictures and tweak it and I'm amazed with the new feature. THANK YOU!

This is a neat feature ...even though I am camera shy... I will enjoy posting pictures of my process and tools.... so many buyers are intrigued when I tell them about it I think they will enjoy seeing picture too!

i have ALWAYS maintained that etsy should allow sellers to link to their stores off of etsy and instead keep buyers and sellers here with great features and great services. I LOVE this change and will actually direct readers of my blog here instead of to my own website because of this feature.

so i do hope that you will add more features we want AND allow us to have NOFOLLOW links to our stores where we sell items outside of etsy.

keep us here because you are awesome not because of fiat
