Inconsistent Activity

I posted a new item to my shop which was not picked up on the front page and then did not show up in my activity. Not only did I miss out on potential viewers on the front page, but people who are in my circle would not have seen this new item,

Recently my daughter listed new items in her shop, none made the front page and they did not show up in my activity, ( she is in my circle) which means she also missed out on potential viewers.

Is is just me or have anyone else come across this problem

I've never had any of my items show up in my actvity (I'm also not using circles, so that could be why!). However, if this helps at all, I listed an item at 8:30 yesterday morning. As of 1:00 am this morning, when I did my pre-bed check on things, it had zero views.
Hope the problem fixes itself soon, and all of your items start showing up again in all the right places!

I have also read that sometimes if you post something at a "busy" time, it won't always show up on the front page activity....not sure though! Sorry! That is a real bummer!

Unfortunately, not everything shows up in the front page "newly listed" section, it's just a random selection of things. It should briefly show up, if viewers click on 'see more.' People in your circles or those that have favorited your shop should see your new item, either in the 'you might like' front page area or the 'new items from your favorite shops' section on their profile page. Random people may see your new item in the 'you might like' section of the front page, if they've favorited similar items or shops. I hope this helps a little

Thank for the explanation, I did however think that if I added someone to my circle I would see any of their activity, including newly listed items. However these did not show up in my activity on this occasion.
