thanks Meredith! I did try the light box for a items, mainly the black and gold pieces, but honestly I didn't like it all that much, but it may have been because my light were a little uneven as far as brightness. For the others I used natural light near a window and a piece of textured ivory handmade paper and set the pieces on top, I also used a tripod and set my camera with the timer so that I wasn't touching it at all when it took the shot, this avoids any camera shake. I did do some post processing in photoshop as well where I was able to adjust the light levels and get rid of any blue tones that were in the images. I hope that helps!
