SAME here! I've read tons of advices and some of my item can be seen on first 3 page on some specific search items like "crystal pearl necklace" or "pearl wedding ring", but nothing, no one click it and no one buy it, very frustrated. I am very hard working.my product quality very good and price very reasonable. Please help me, give me some advices! :/
Janet @kozycat designs I'd guess it's because of your photos - or lack of.
You're selling a higher value product but not showing what folk are buying. Tbh it does personally irk me somewhat when i'm shopping & there are so few pics. It's the photo that essentially sells the goods. I'd recommend adding 5 for each listing, good quality, full sized & showing the blankets entirety in the pics.
I nearly left your shop thinking you only sold pearls! I would be inclined to mix your products up a bit...the top half is quite yellowy & samey, then the bottom half is peachy, the next page we hit the greens! I think it'd look much more appealling & easier on the eye if you mixed it all up. Or at least in variable rows which is what i tend to try to do.
I think it would help bigly too if your jewels were shown on a model....pop your necklace around a neck so the size, look, & perspective can be truly grasped . & if you send your items boxed/ gift wrapped, i would show this too - most jewellery i buy is for gifting, i won't buy it if it doesn't come boxed.
I have a couple stores before and i know, the stores need a lot of work before selling, I have started 9 january on Etsy and started to publish listings 6 days ago and i getting about 50 listings views everyday, It is all about back-links, SEO, using twitter, Facebook, Instagram, blogger and more, Publish to anywhere you can, Your shop link need to be out everywhere then you get higher ranking. I do not except any sells in a couple month, when the hard work is done, and a couple month when google getting the back-links in the system more visitors will come.
One tip - do not use high res photos use good photos but not so good that people can use them, i have seen many using others designs. If using highres photos , put a watermark over the photos.
