How are your Father's Day orders coming?

Any luck with Father's Day orders - to those that specifically market Father's Day gifts? I had a successful Mother's Day boom - wondering if the Father's Day boom is yet to come or if I've missed it.

What has been your experience?

So far I've had a number of people purchase my soap dishes for Father's day.

It happens every year.

I keep one listing tagged for kids and one for Dads and it seems to work for me.

No father's day orders for me so far, that I know of. I had some Mother's day sales...I guess my items aren't very dad-friendly!

I haven't sold anything for the past few months. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I am retaking my pictures. I could use some help. I love working with beads but I am spending all my time reading how to improve my shop and have no time to make things.

I do have a Men's Jewelry Collection in my shop but I had not thought about a Father's Day promo because Mother's Day was so slow and I was offering a 20% off coupon??!! Maybe I'll give it a try!

I had two items sell that were marked as Fathers Day gifts, but Im not sure if the buyer bought them for that reason.

Erica, consider changing your avatar to one of your Father's Day signs, just until the holiday is past. It's like a mini ad for you.

Also, in your shop description remind people of the date of Father's Day. Gets them to buy faster.

I changed a couple of my listings to include the words "Fathers Day" and got a couple of views on them, but not many.

GB, thanks for the advice - done and done. Really tried to market more items towards Father's Day - changed tags, etc. Hoping we all have a successful Father's Day season!
