I think it's your photos - aside from being on the darker side, they're not cohesive. There are too many different backgrounds, so it looks confusing. Trying taking the photos on a solid background (preferrably white) and then brighten them up in photoshop (picnik.com is super easy to use - photos brighten in just one click of the exposure button). Try turning the bows in the same direction and take close shots using the macro setting on your camera. You want the shop to look as uniform and cohesive as possible.
Also, as Natasha suggested, take a look at successful bow shops that you admire and take notes on what they're doing in terms of descriptions, tags, and photos.
