Intrested?

seems like sales and views and favorites are just dropping down. Is anyone else feeling this slow season? But to pass the time, here are a few Questions!

What are your favorite items on easy ( style wise)

Do you think that Etsy does have the best gifts for the "ungiftables" or the people that you just have no idea what to get.

Do you think Spring colors are in?

What do you foresee being the next being selling style or item to come this summer and the future?

Re: Intrested?

Hey Justas,

Gosh, I'm not sure about the slow season, I just started 1/31, so I'm exicted with every sale I get!
I guess I never thought about the people who are hard to shop for, gift wise. I love giving gifts. I agonize over it though, but i always find the right thing. I think Etsy is good for any one really. There is sooo much on this site it is ridiculous.

I love Spring colors. I think they are in even when it isn't Spring! I think it's boring to go with the seasons with how you dress. If I want to wear a bright floral shirt in the dead of winter, then by gosh i'm going to do it.

I have no idea about the future, sale wise. Though I have sold 3 handbags in the past 2 weeks. I have read that pleated skirts and ruffled Victorian collars are in for spring.

Re: Intrested?

Feeling the frustration here too. Sales are WAY down & I remain uneasy waiting for the spring season. Trying new marketing ideas & considering trying to sell in local shops as well. Not sure about the upcoming trends as many can't be applied to my shop, however I do anticipate better sales as the season progresses. Best of luck, I feel your pain.

Re: Intrested?

yikes...I was feeling alright, but then ZERO views today. ZERO. That is ok, it was a beautiful day outside. So many items 1/2 built /: and no time to do them. I wouldn't have felt so bad about it, but I am having the worst time at my day job-my attitude there really sucks (taxes-whatever-I guess I am the artist that chose to work there).

I love finding the wacky crazy stuff, but I've bought beads and findings for my jewelry making and had a custom phone book made that was vintage and romantic-my first non business purchase in awhile.

I have no idea about Spring colors, they are always happy. And as for the next big being on here, who the heck knows. I am having fun making the stuff I like-rarely have time to tune in to what is the rage out there. I get kind of overwhelmed when I try to follow the trend. I keep seeing stuff thinking, ok I can make that...then I realize...I wouldn't make that, it's cool, but I wouldn't make that. For me Etsy is part business and part heart, and right now, I really really need to do the heart stuff.

On happy note, I did have sales at the weekend on here and local and really concentrated on the packaging. Since my sales have been slow, I've been able to make some really fun boxes out of recycled stuff. That was also therapeutic.

So rambly, sorry!!
