I average about 30 views

My shop gets on average 20-30 views per day and I have had one sale (to someone I dont know) since I opened my shop in January. Is this a good amount of views per day? What can I do to increase views and SALES??

Views don't equal sales...that is what everyone is going to tell you. One of my items has been on the front page of the browse section and has brought tons of views, but that hasn't brought any sales...very dissapointing...but i am being noticed and that really counts! However, I think you are doing well. Your shop looks good and you want to be found by people who are looking for your item, not just window shopping. Read all you can about SEO and tags and keep adversiting on FB and teams. Good luck!

I agree views dont equal sales - I get anywhere between 100 - 300 but I dont always sell.

You may want to work on your SEO and titles though...
You arent getting found in searches.

Views vary from shop to shop. I don't think there is a specific number of views you get a day for a sale to occur. Looking at your shop I got to say that you have really good items. If you can change some of the titles and see what that change contributed to it might be better.

To get more sales, you must:

- Promote your shop
- Figure out how to become "relevant" in Etsy searches
- Perform great feats of SEO for major engines
- Build a following for your brand

Have a quality product that people want and would be willing to part ways with their money for -- seek these people out and market directly to them

While views ARE important, because frankly you can have a sale without the view.. you need to make sure that the 30 views you are getting are from people who would be interested in your items!

The traffic on Etsy cannot be considered. Problems with bots, and curious people finding your posts in the forums, etc, while latter can possibly bring in a sale, it most likely won't.

(I didn't look at your shop and based on your shop name and avatar, have no idea what your product you might be selling)

I do wonder why I'm not getting found on more searches, though, as I've tweaked my titles and tags many times. For those of you who mentioned my titles, do you have any specific suggestions? I am just not sure what I'm getting wrong there...again, thank you for taking the time.

Mandie - first three words of title are what you would use to describe the item to someone who couldn't see - thats the easiest way I think of it.

When you go to google to find something - you generally use three best keywords.

Shabby Chic Decor
Modern Home Decor
Pink Shelf
Pink Wooden Shelf
Fruit Basket
Wooden Fruit Basket
....etc

These are the types of things I would use in the beginning of the title.

Maybe also try not to crop your photos so close.
Make sure you can see the entire item in the thumbnail view.
I find this helps get people to click on my item once they do a search.

Im doing a general search for painted wine glasses, and Im finding most backgrounds are similar and sadly, kinda boring. This is a great opportunity to branch out from the norm and do something a bit more eye catching. Do something slightly different to get your glasses to shine among the others.

I had 200 views two days ago; none of those views turned into a sale. This morning I woke up to a sale with only 20 views so far today.

Don't worry about your views if they're not directly related to your sales.

Literally, after reading some posts I narrowed down my titles to first three words descriptive of the item.....

I JUST DID THIS Saturday, and Sunday I had TWO SALES!!

Otherwise sales are about every few weeks lately....but I thought it was cool how that happened....I have a coupon code also...

I get a lot of views around 800 a day, and some sales...it's not as relevant, but if know one is looking at your shop/items it will be hard to sell them...
