How to get started on teams

Hi, everyone! I'm pretty new and I have to admit that going through all the threads is a bit overwhelming. Can anyone share any tips on the best ways to start to engage with others in the community?

Is it creating treasuries and featuring others? Are there regular shop critiques that I can participate in? I can't wait to connect with all of you but I'm a little lost about how to start. :)

I've found that there are different teams that serve different purposes. Some are great for learning about how to improve your shop and some are there to do activities to bring traffic to your shop (treasuries and "hearting" teammates' items. I've read that the ones that create team treasuries are not necessarily directly helpful to your shop, but they can be fun to do if you have the right teammates. And teams are made up of people, so of course you have many different personalities. Just try out a few and if they're not a good fit for you, you can always leave the team.
Another thing that's good to do is Subscribe to the email digest for your teams so that you can easily find new discussions.

Don't forget- pay attention to the rules of each team! This one doesn't do treasuries, promoting, or favoriting games. We do critiques, but only on request.

Post an intro, post a question, participate in a discussion near the top (as conversations die, they get bumped lower and more active ones move to the top).

In general, participate more in teams, and try to help others too!

Treasuries can be fun. I don't join the treasury teams, but I make one every few days, and I find it helps.
