How to get more views and maybe my first sale....?

I have been reading up on many tutorials and on tags, and on marketing through instagram and twitter, and giveaways.... Is there anything I can be doing to make my shop more popular? Or is there anything I'm doing wrong that I cannot see as a newbie? I'm doing my absolute best to be patient! :D Do you guys think I should bring my prices much lower just for a first sale?

Danni, your work is beautiful!! Rather than lower prices, write your policies and add more inventory!

Cute shop name. The elf illustration is darling. Bev is right. When I got to 40-50 items I had way more views. It was hard because each piece of art takes so much time. That's why artist shouldn't lower prices. Many people don't realize a great illustration can take 60-80 hours even when done digitally.

I got more sales when I showed ways to use the item in photos and then even more when I added that to the tags. It took a while to find tags that drew interested customers and I'm still working on that myself.

Have you thought about adding tags like wall, decor, kids, child, bedroom, nursery, gift, etc? You suggest ways to use the illustration so use that in your tags so those shoppers see it. Just an idea. Have you thought to personalize the elf digital version with the customer's child's name?

I'd love to hear your ideas for my shop as well. It's so nice to borrow another's creative eye. I hope you get your first sale today!

I myself am not a top seller by any means but wanted to offer some encouragement.

First, I would not lower your prices, they are not high at all.

Your work is really cute. Like the others said, perhaps building inventory. I really need to work on this, too.

Maybe work on your tags. On another question and answer, I saw someone recommend Etsy Rank. I'm still learning how to use it, but it is helpful in showing you that more specific tags are less competitive. And, use all your tags.
