How to get consistent views?

Hi everyone :)

I am having trouble getting consistent views. If I try really hard and put myself out there on forums, treasuries, social media etc I get around 30 views...however, if I do nothing another day, I will, surprise, get zero views.

I have redone my titles, pictures, tags, banner, avatar, and I have added more items. How can I get consistent views leading to consistent sales?

Any advice and input is much appreciated!

Hi there, I've discovered I get a lot more views by purchasing Etsy Search ads. Pretty affordable and can help raise visibility. Good Luck!

How often are you adding new items?

Maybe once a week. Sometimes twice a week.

It's the same way for me, but then other times it jumps and then drops and it's hard to find a reason. I'm no expert, but I think consistent sales and views result from having more items in your shop. More items means that people are more likely to stay longer and browse your shop..and possibly purchase something.

Adding more items is a big help. As is making your photos as great as they can possibly be. Making and being featured in treasuries helps too..try joining a treasury team. Also, having more different types of items can help. I see you have one pendant, but perhaps a few more of those, or some wire-wrapped bookmarks?

I am working on making more pendants :) That is a really great idea. I have heard the etsy ads are not so helpful. Many sellers have told me that they are a waste of money =/ Any thoughts?

Your items are really pretty but you definately need more of them especially in the jewelry category. Also I noticed on this item and several others when I opened up the actual listing the picture was blurry so you definately want to work on that.

I agree that more items and awesome pictures are what a buyer wants. I also have too few items in my shop and working to remedy that. On your pendants, I would want to see a picture of them hanging from a chain to see how they hand - different shapes often hang differently than what we expect.

I paid for search ads for several months before I quit. They really helped me get my name out there and get some favorites, and I also got placed in some circles. I would consider paying for the ads for a while until you see in your stats that you are getting pretty consistent views without them...

I'm getting well over 100 views every day, BUT 1 or 2 from Google. I can not figure out what I"m doing wrong. I've read every SEO item out there, changed my tags and titles, and still nada.

If anyone is getting good google views, please come have a look at my shop and tell me what I'm doing wrong!!

I get about 10 views a day on a regular day, very dissapointing... Not sure on how to improve, if anyone has some advice based on experience i would also appreciate. How do you find treasury teams? It does sound like a good way to get work out.

I have joined cafemom.com, mamapedia, and google groups that are indirectly related to me. See if that may help. Also, fiver.com is one I was recently referred to. I was able to get about 50 new likes on my fb page and it was directly related to moms. Hope any of that info helps!!!

This is a beautiful start, angle and light on the ring, its really pretty but blurry, that however may not be contributing to low views, but not helping sales when you do get views:)

The first line of this listing:

Its interesting and storytelling but wont get you found in google, maybe use desccriptive keywords first and then say how you were inspired by and put this quite,
Also I am not sure that / and - are good for search and seo, maybe try omitting them:0
Your items are pretty, I think also raise your prices a bit.
Raise your prices and lower your shipping. It shows you value your time:)
You will get the same amount but it will feel more even, a lot of jewlery sellers with small pieces even do free shipping, i dont do free shipping, but if you were charge $15 and free shipping it may help:)

I think persistence in the key. Constantly be adding new product (at least once or twice a week) and renew more often than that if you can. Also poking around on the forums seems to help bring in new customers for me. I think any way you can consistently get your brand out there is going to eventually pay off.

I just looked at your shop -- one other thing I would just is to try to get several pages of items on there. That way your items are more likely to show up in search results. If you take a look at some of the top sellers, they all have 6+ pages of items!
