How to find where sales come from

I've heard many sellers that know the source of sales. How can I do that? I woke up today and had a sale (thank god!).
The item had 4 views, 1 from fb, 3 from etsy (2 from my listings and 1 from search). How to choose the specific view that brought the sale?

Congrats!!
Try different methods - click on the shop stats and the links given like etsy.com/ direct traffic etc, may be here u can find how someone landed in your shop, what were the keywords used to search the product.
have u tried goolgle analytics? it gives a precise analytics on keywords, locations and more details.

I've done everything in shop stats, I found the keyword used, still don't understand which view resulted in sale.
I think I should study about google analytics. Telling the truth I find it very hard but it is a must if you run an online shop.

Have you considered asking your customer? I've been doing that for the past 6+ years now and its amazing the statistics I've accumulated.

You can't find it (without asking) if they came through Etsy's internal search, or through pinterest or whatever. You can find the terms they used to find you through google, if that's how they found you - it's pretty complicated, though. Asking is probably a lot easier.

Sometimes by using different coupon code can help to figure out where the customers come from.
