If you've been using a lightbox, but you're still having trouble getting your pictures bright enough, or the color is turning out wrong, this post is for you!
There's also some tips on choosing lighting for your lightbox. Hope it helps! Please let me know if you have any questions :)
Thanks so much Kat! I built my own light box. I started out with two small clip-on shop lights with the bulbs you reccomended and a desk light over top. I got a blue tone and realized it was from the flurorescet bulb. I got rid of the desk lamp; bought 2 more shop lights; but switched to clear bulbs & then got very gray tones. I then started taking pictures with my box in front of a window that faces east and the pictures look good. I have a cannon sureshot and do not think there are adjustments. If I buy 2 more of the reccomended lights; do you think it will get get rid ot gray?
@BlancaBellaBoutique... Could you email me an example of the gray in your pictures?
Could you also let me know the exact model of your camera (Canon Sure Shot 90u, for example). That way I can look up in the manual if it has the adjustments you need.
Thanks so much for the info. This was exactly what I needed since I was getting very confused about how to get good pictures with a light box. I will play around with it and let you know how the pictures turn out.
I just made a light box, so this lighting info is very helpful. Unfortunately, I only have a camera on my smartphone and can't afford a standalone one.
