Creative Ideas for Shop Description (About Page)

Hello Team,
I have a huge favor to ask, if you have the time... I'd like to know how you would describe my jewelry. It's hard for me - because I work with it all day long - and would really love a 'fresh' set of eyes to describe what they see....that way I will know I am targeting the right audience.

If anyone else would like the same 'fresh' eyes for Their shop - please post a link in this thread too!

Do you mean the blurb below your shop name? Keep in mind, this is what appears on Google, I kept mine super simple with no personal info, that's what my about page is for. Mine is short and to the point about what I have.

No, I mean the 'About Page'.... I describe my Jewelry as Handcrafted Jewelry, using earthy clay, gemstones, crystals ,glass and mixed metal.
A combination of Bohemian and Natural Earth Inspired pieces.

....But I think someone else might describe it differently...so looking for what other people see when they look at it!!!

I think you described it best. However, you have a comma after hand crafted jewelry that shouldn't be there and a space before another comma. Sorry I just notice these things, I am a teacher's assistant.

Tina your work is magical, has magic to/in it - I'd like to hear where that comes from. In the About pages I enjoy reading what inspires the artist, to read something that touches me. Your art touches me so now find the words to go with that. Your work seems to come from something special, can you put that into words?

Not sure i'm expressing myself well here, am a great believer that it should be your own words, your art is very expressive - maybe if you google how to describe art (or something like that).

Thank You Ladies, You have given me a LOT to think about - I will be making time tomorrow with a cup of tea - to write! Jenni - Thank You for corrections!!! Wendy, I am very interested in writing about Why and How I come to create my work (had not thought that would be of interest), Fayrouz Jewelry - I love your words....
I have made some little changes in the meantime - but tomorrow will be creative writing day! :-)

Tina - you do beautiful work. On my about page I showed the process of making one of my quilt designs. Maybe you could show one piece being made and the process you go about making them. Love your shop!
