How to Package it?

I will be introducing and listing my little sculptured babies very soon (soooo excited). It dawned on me, that I don't know the best way to package and mail them.

I want to package them in something nice (without breaking the bank), and then what I use for packaging will need to be boxed for shipping (without breaking the customer's bank). The dolls are between 10 and 14" tall, and could sit up, with a little help. They will come with an outfit, and probably something personalized.

Any thoughts on packaging and shipping materials that would be good to use? Also, where to get them? Any help would be appreciated!

I find that the variety of sizes that Priority post supplies (not the flat rate ones, the ones on the site that you can have delivered to your house) are a cheap and very sturdy option for delicate items.

Re: How to Package it?

If you want to wrap package your dolls nicely before placing them into a box maybe you can buy a roll of cellophane and wrap them up in it with a little bow at the top. you know, like a basket.
I think you can get a roll of cello wrap for a reasonable price too.
Here's something I found on amazon

I think your sculptures would look great wrapped up in that.

Re: How to Package it?

The best way for packing for a doll like that would be a shoeboxed sized box and bubble wrap. You can always use nice tissue paper, wrapping and gift tags. You can also personalize the box yourself with stickers and such. ;) Recycled boxes also work well (usually your local grocery store will give you their boxes if you ask them ;)
