How should I handle this... Advice please

Hi, I hope everyone is well. I come upon a situation I'm not sure how to handle. See I reached out to a blogger recently under the agreement that I would create a custom piece for her, in exchange for her featuring me on her blog under gift ideas. We emailed back and fourth she was delighted and agreed. I showed her a proof of the finished product she again was happy and have me her address. I mailed the portrait out and tracked that it has been delivered Friday, not hearing from her i emailed her as to whether or she received it on Monday, she replied that she had. I reminded her that when she post the feature to let me know. She did not reply. How long should I wait to contact her again? She is a pretty well known blogger. And I was tempted to make it known that she if she renig's on the agreement. I'm not sure what to do I invested time and money and she agreed to do it. Has this happen to anyone else? How have you responded? I'm so frustrated!

If you're certain enough of her credibility, I'd say to wait for a while. Even if she has written the post, she may want to schedule it or queue it to be published at a certain date. If this is so, you could ask her for an estimate of when it will be published.

The same happened to me once. 1 week after she received my products, she finally made the review. Wait a little more. This is why I don't do trades anymore.

Yea, I don't like the feeling at all, this is my third trade & they yield poor results anyway, so this will be my last one. Sometimes I forget that just because I'm a certain way doesn't mean other people are, if someone gave me something they poured their heart into, I'd be a hell of a lot more considerate and make it a priority to get it done.

I have worked with a blogger before and she took a couple weeks before she posted my piece. Especially if she's known, don't worry. like others have said, she's probably busy.

I agree, they do yield poor results. I have done it once and never again.

I wouldn't worry yet. Sometimes, there are days when you just get totally swamped. With the holidays too, things might just be crazy for her.

I think the same as you do, Jasmine (what a lovely name BTW). I also wanted to mention that I've been thinking about giving bloggers a small discount. They have to all understand that this is our work, and we are not looking forward to 'give it out'. Of course, blogging has a challenge of its own, but I don't think our work pays the price. I might be wrong, but that's just my personal opinion.

Thank you to everyone for your feedback I was definitely panicking lol, thank you Artsian, :-). I think we have to try out different things to see what works, I dunno about you guys but I don't have a lot if money in the budget for advertising so I try to be creative. But you do indeed get what you pay for.
