June is my best sales month and revenue to date! It's a big surprise to me because it was unexpected. Father's Day sales have kicked the month off very, very well.
It's so nice to read all your stories, very motivating!
May was the worst month I've ever had, with only 2 sales. It was extra frustrating because I was actually improving my shop the entire month of May. I started working with a model to renew all my photography (still working on it), I updated descriptions and tags etc. BUT this month all my work actually payed off. I already sold 9 items in June, very very happy about that!! Good luck to everyone!
quite depressing.. I had two sales one after the other in May, and I thought that things were going to improve, at last... but I hoped too soon :( I know that jewelry is way overcrowded.. but... all the same..
I'm a fairly new shop and am struggling with getting my first sale. I have changed around my photography in response to feedback from fellow team members (my backgrounds were too busy) but now I feel the shop is too boring and doesn't really speak to the personality of the shop. I suppose I'm just dealing with "taking the leap" anxiety :)
I average 1-2 sales a day. I've noticed that those sales increased from 1 a week when I partcipate in treasuries, renew listings, and add new items every day.
After a wonderful May, all came to a halt. Not 1 sale in all month! But I don't dispair: I'm slowly working in several new items for my shop, making nice color cards for my yarns and re-stocking materials. And thinking about new ideas for Halloween and Christmas.
So, even without sales, I'm working hard as always to keep my shop growing
I have gotten several favorites this month, but only one sale. I am working on retaking photos this week and updating tags. Any other thoughts on turning views and favorites into sales?
