Tagging is a huge thing. Also having you title, first line of the description, and tags all match up.

Listing new items and then advertising the new items in as many places on and off Etsy as you can. Then make treasuries for your team mates. Hopefully, they will reciprocate and the treasuries will help your views too.

My views and favorites have hugely increased since joining teams and getting more involved in the Etsy world! I also use social media (Facebook and Instagram), but I think most of my traffic still comes from Etsy. I have also been editing some of my titles and tags with better key words--I think this has also been a big help!

Just views? stumble, forums, and team...but these are 99% looky loos. Go piss off the forum, get MASSIVE views but it's not going to help anything.

Views with potential to lead to sales IMO...

The most efficient way is to PUT as much budget to Etsy Ads search, those views is helpful to generate sale... however.. it need a lot of budget spend...

I get lots of views doing treasuries with a local Australian team. Then you can get a front page, much easier on our local etsyau as there is less competition. I have had one front page and had my work in lots of local Front pages.

Have something unique and find your target audience. Pass around your business cards, get friends to spread the news, use some social media, do some craft shows, get people visiting your etsy shop who actually like your stuff. For me that is anyone involved in highland dance or with Scottish heritage. Develop a niche and be persistent. Treat your customers well so they come back. This month I had one customer come back three times to buy more!

I agree that you might get more views from teams etc, but what you want is buyers, not views. It doesn't help if people are just viewing your items but don't want to buy them.

Best way to get more views: Spam everywhere you can think of and put links on every place you can find with crazy titles like "you won't believe what these co-eds did to a greased up pig while they were naked." Also, make your links look like page turns and other useful buttons on the web.


Best way to get more sales: make sure you have a quality product, at a fair price, great tags, great detailed description and photos with fair shipping and handling prices, then post your links to relevant sites and blogs, handing out cards to potential customers. Find out your target market and spend your advertising money there. Use social media sites to your advantage by posting regularly with quality links to your products.

I'm pretty new to Etsy.. only 9 sales so far and don't get a ton of views. I'm not even sure what qualifies for a lot of views… i think the most I've ever gotten is around 65 in a day. It's hard with so many sites. If anyone wants to look at my shop and give me any advice I'd love it!!! Hanging in but not making any money!
