Re: How's my shop now?

I love your shop's look, it's nice and clean and easy to shop in. I really had to look hard for things to improve, here are my little suggestions:

The banner, for me, is difficult to read. Possibly put an outer-shadow/outer-glow effect on the lettering maybe?
Re: your profile, people like to know a little bit about the artist they're buying from. Maybe a little bio info to put on the personal touch?

Nice job, very well done.

Cheers~

Re: How's my shop now?

Very nice work on the crochet beads! A few suggestions:

You've misspelled "earrings" in the section name and in a few tags I looked at (2 Rs). You'll miss out on a lot of searches til this is fixed. Also, colorful has only 1 L at the end.

Your titles for several of the same item (e.g. pacifier clips) are the same. For a wider range of hits in searches, mix up the titles a bit. Rearrange the order of the descriptive phrases (the 1st three words are most important in relevancy, I think). Include the main colors, the animals, the option to personalize/customize.

Speaking of pacifier clips, you describe them as crocheted, but wouldn't "beaded" be more accurate?

Your banner is difficult to read. You could omit the etsy address, since if a person is viewing your banner in your shop, they're already at the address. This will give you more space to enlarge your shop name. (I do like the photo)

I sense that English isn't your first language. I can't imagine having to do my own listings in a second language, and you've done a good job....but if you could get a friend to go over your descriptions and help you correct some grammar and spelling, it would help in search relevancy and ease of reading for shoppers.

Whew! Good luck, you're off to a great start!

Re: How's my shop now?

I agree with some of the comments above. Photos are great. Banner is hard to read. And I think your grammar needs some fixing.

Re: How's my shop now?

Your shop is bright and colorful and your items are very nice! My suggestions would be:
- Place a description of what you sell in your shop title instead of your shop name. This helps with relevancy.
- In the title for your pacifier clips you have "safe for baby". In your item description you might want to say what exactly you have done to make them safe for baby so they are not a choking hazard.
- Fill in your profile page. As Sarah said above, people want to be able to connect to you as an artist and know a little about you and your process.

I think you are doing a great job. Wishing you lots of luck!

Re: How's my shop now?

A couple of suggestions:

* Try putting the words on your banner closer to the corner where there's more white space. This way they're readable and the picture is clearly visible.
* In your shop announcement, describe what you're selling - handmade crochet jewelry and pacifier clips. Not only will this help with any Google searches, it'll help your potential customers to know exactly what they're going to find when they visit your shop.
* Seconding Sarah's tip about the shop title.
* Double-check your spelling. I find it helps you write things in a word processing program first and then copy and paste them over, just to catch anything that you might otherwise miss. "Ecco friendly" for example should be "eco friendly," and if you have enough space you could add "baby gift" as a tag.

I love that you include a model wearing the items. It makes it easier to picture how it might look in real life.
