How often do you renew your items?

How often do you renew your items and how many each day? I find my views go down drastically if I don't renew quite a few each day so it can get very expensive. How about you?

I learned to space out when I post listings so they won't all expire at once.

It just seems like a waste of money to renew when you don't need to.

If I'm not listing regularly I'll renew something that's getting ready to expire. I had hand surgery last week...so I renewed a couple of things. I'm hoping I'll be up to photographing stuff I made in anticipation of the surgery so I can get some NEW listings up.

When they expire or sell, but I have them staggered so I renew a couple a week...

If I don't have anything new to list, I renew one or two a day. Now that I have over 200 items in my shop, there always seems to be something close to expiring anyway. I do find it helps with views - although renewing isn't nearly as critical as it was before relevancy, it still helps to stay up in the search, and categories.

I renew when something expires. I'm driven to create every day, so I almost always have something to list. I do have a few favorites that I remake but then I copy, substituting the pictures of the new beads and changing the description if necessary (if the size is a mm different, for example.)

I have been trying to either add anew listing or renewing daily. I get more views that way then buying the ads and it still comes out cheaper.

When items expire but I also renew some before they expire to bump them up in searches a little. It gives them a push because renewing plays a part in relevancy. Best thing to do though is list brand new items to keep your shop fresh and your customers interested. :)

I always re-list the item when it's sold. I always think that it's better if you create new item rather than renew an existing item. Since I don't have that many items in my shop, I always try to make a new design.

I am relatively new to Etsy and I just created a second shop for my photography (this one). I have only had 1 sale so far, but I am still adding listings. I only renew them after they expire or if I want to draw extra attention to a particular piece that I am focused on selling. But, then again, I am still learning about search terms on Etsy. It sounds like the consistent message is that you don't need to renew daily. Best of luck!
